I enjoy the practical side of software — migrating legacy systems, speeding up slow queries, and automating the workflows people shouldn't have to do by hand.
At Jin Technologies I work on a platform that connects architectural design to automated manufacturing — helping move a Symfony 1.4 codebase to Next.js, building the APIs in between, and extending the desktop tooling that architects use every day.
I like owning features end to end — from the database schema to the UI — and I'm comfortable jumping in when production needs a quick fix.
Experience
A construction-tech platform connecting architectural design to automated manufacturing. A few areas I've worked on:
Helped migrate around 15 modules from Symfony 1.4 to Next.js — Tasks, Inspector Portal, plan review, QA dashboards, workload scheduling — used daily by about 100 people across design, manufacturing and inspection teams. Several of these I built and shipped on my own.
Set up platform-wide authentication with NextAuth, including role-based access and session sync between the Next.js and Symfony apps. Also built REST APIs for the model-data import pipeline, job scheduling, and Autodesk ACC cloud integration.
Built and maintain a Revit plugin that automates element codification, assembly creation, and BOM sync with the platform. What used to take architects days of manual work per model now takes a few hours.
Built APIs that extract spatial data from building models — XYZ coordinates, structural routings, collision points — which PLCs and robots read for automated construction.
Brought a critical SQL query down from ~14s to ~2–3s, and cut build times from 14+ minutes to ~3–4 by upgrading Next.js 14→16 and moving from Webpack to Turbopack.
Projects
An e-commerce platform with AR virtual try-on and ML-powered recommendations. Built the frontend and backend in a 3-member team, using OpenCV for interpupillary distance measurement.
